**Overview**:
The company are looking for an IT Helpdesk Support Apprentice, having already had a number of apprentices supporting them and their customers over the last 5 years.

Also, as an independent company, many of their senior employees started as an apprentice, It's the norm that apprentices get offered a full-time permanent contract on successful completion of their apprenticeship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
- Log all calls on the IT helpdesk ticketing system
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
- Take ownership of problems and be pro-active when dealing with all issues
- Carry out daily systems checks and process accordingly
- Provide hardware and software support of all IT systems where necessary
- Adhere to best security practices given the confidential information that the post holder may come into contact within the course of their duties
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards
- Support the information systems needs of the business

And any other tasks as reasonably required and requested.

- Must have an analytical approach and able to think creatively to solve problems
- Good Attention to detail and accuracy

**Entry requirements**:
The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Salary**:
£12,500 - £18,278 per annum. (dependent on Age & Experience)

**Future prospects**:
Many of the companies’ former apprentices are still working within the business after completing their apprenticeship and securing a permanent fulltime role within IT.

The opportunity to progress into a permanent position. with a new job title, salary increase and added responsibilities within their role will also be offered to you on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
