**Fox Morris Group** are working to recruit an **Grants Officer**

**Length - 6+month ongoing contract**

**Rate - £23.08 to £25.60 per hour**

**Main Purpose of Job**:

- To contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants and any other financial assistance offered by the Council.
- To provide advice and support to older or disabled people and other vulnerable individuals who wish to repair, adapt or improve their homes.
- Provide an appropriate service for the benefit of customers and colleagues from the referral stage through to completion of works.

**Main Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities**

1. To visit clients in their own homes, providing the required level of advice and information, maintaining regular contact with them at each stage of the case.

2. Ensure that the client understands and is kept informed of all procedures and practices involved with their particular circumstances.

4. Participate in on-site scheme feasibility studies to ascertain how best to adapt a property to meet an applicant’s needs; this will require problem solving skills in order to offering constructive suggestions regarding problems encountered.
