**JOB TITLE**: Workshop Supervisor

**LOCATION**:Spalding

**SALARY**: £32,909 - £37,261 per annum

**Are you a HGV Mechanic with Supervisor or Foreman experience?**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Environmental team as a Workshop Supervisor.

You will support the Fleet Manager & Operations manager to achieve the Objectives of South Holland District Council. Leading the team to work collaboratively with members across the partnership by providing accurate and effective Fleet Services and administration. Also assisting with the continuous improvement of all services including the operational fleet supervision, monitoring, servicing, and repairs

Typical tasks will consist of preparing daily work sheets for inspection and ensuring daily defects are reported and repaired in a timely manner to enable the smooth running of all services. You will also be in charge of organisation staff daily/weekly rotas and organising cover for holidays etc as required.

**To be successful**:

- Previous experience of workshop supervision including use of Fleet Diagnostic Systems
- Level 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle service & Maintenance & Repair.
- Category C Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Experience of Microsoft Office packages and confident in navigating a range of computer systems.
