Harris & Harris are looking for an experienced Completions Clerk to join our Conveyancing team in our Frome Office.

**Areas of Professional Responsibility**:
To provide support to the Residential Conveyancing Department with completions and accounting matters and associated administration.

**Hours of Work**:
There is the opportunity for this to be a part-time role with some flexibility for the spread of the hours over the working week.

**Key Qualifications**:
No specific qualifications are required however IT and Accountancy or Legally based qualifications would be advantageous.

The role will involve working with figures and good competence with IT and digital working will be required.

A successful applicant will need to be organised, able to manage their own work and prioritise where appropriate.

Good communication and client / customer care skills are essential, both in person and on the telephone.

**Key Skills & Responsibilities**:
An ability to manage an administrative workload.

Making appointments and maintaining the diary.

Filing and maintaining file records and photocopying.

Preparing basic statements.

Managing payments (incoming and outgoing) in conjunction with Solicitors.

Raising and settling invoices.

Updating online records / portals

Informing clients and other professional parties of progress.

Assisting in preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns.

**Requirements for Position**:
A high attention to detail is essential to the role.

Good communication skills.

Mathematical ability in preparing and cross checking accounts.

A Working knowledge of SOS Connect or a similar case management system would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products in particular Outlook and Word

Discretion is a requirement of the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 - 35 per week

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£22,500.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
