Court Usheraa

Our public sector client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This is initially a temporary assignment until 31/03/23 with a good chance of being extended. This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Youwill be working around the hours of 9am - 5pm (this may differ slightly). The pay rate for this role is £10.32 per hour.
The office is located on Pipers Row, Wolverhampton, WV1 3LQ.
As a court usher you will be the first point of contact for users of the court services. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the courts and have a hand in the following:

- Meeting and greeting court users
- Giving directions to court/hearing rooms
- Assisting with the set up of court room, ensuring they are clean and tidy
- Communicating with Judges and Magistrates - ensuring the have the correct set up and schedule
- Sitting in on hearings and making sure they are running smoothly
- Use of in house databases
- Data entry
- Adhoc admin tasks
