**Job Purpose**

As the Carpenters Group marketing and brand leader, the role holder will be responsible for shaping and setting brand and marketing strategy, measuring and monitoring campaign effectiveness and ensuring consistency of brand both internally and externally. You will utilise marketplace insights and data to create innovative and inspired marketing strategy campaigns which are delivered in a recognised and consistent Carpenters’ Group voice.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with a variety of key stakeholders, you will lead the strategy for our internal and external audience, supported by members of the marketing and internal communications team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the overall brand and marketing strategy for the business, oversee delivery and measure performance
- Provide regular performance analysis and develop recommendations for change/improvement
- Lead and mentor the marketing and internal communications team
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organisations to ensure that the brand and marketing strategy are in line with the business’ future plans/targets/goals
- Strategically assess brand positioning and review branding guidelines for internal and external audiences
- Design consistent Carpenters’ branded copywriting to ensure alignment with our voice and messaging
- Set KPI’s and create a data driven robust framework to measure performance
- Design a consistent recognised internal voice and brand for our People to engage with and recognise
- Review and development of our social media presence and approach
- Review of creative and digital content in line with the overall strategy providing recommendations where necessary
- Continuously assess the market and keep up to date with trends, changes and competition

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within the legal or insurance sector
- Preferred Marketing degree or professional qualification
- Creative thinker and problem solver with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience leading and managing a team
- Expertise in brand, campaign, digital, content, and events management
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to write and edit copy to a professional standard
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Strong influencing skills
- Resilient and adaptable
- Thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments
- Proven ability to manage a range of stakeholders and adapt to a variety of audiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A sound commercial awareness of the industry is preferable but can be developed
