**The Role**:
Working within the Procurement team, you will assist Avove with their procurement requirements and provide support to the Telecoms business by sourcing new suppliers and subcontractors to develop the supply chain to deliver the contracts’ needs.
This will encompass all aspects of best practice procurement and supply chain management in order to add value whilst exceeding customer expectations.
You will also be responsible for sourcing specialist subcontractors, stakeholder engagement, market awareness, project management and commercial negotiations. This is a full-time permanent role. You will work from home along with travel to sites and offices.

**Responsibilities**:
Day to day management of Telecoms specific Subcontracts and supply chain
Performance management of suppliers including leading quarterly business reviews, helping to build supplier capacity where appropriate and collaborative working to achieve better business decisions and value within Avove
Developing relationships and expertise to ensure all goods, materials and services are supplied at market leading competitive pricing
Promote through early involvement the potential for procurement to add value and improve customer service
Establishment of category strategies to include purchases, market intelligence and sourcing plans to meet the needs of the business
Achieve and report procurement cost savings
Input into Strategic Procurement planning activity
To undertake any other duties that might reasonably be expected of this post to achieve the successful delivery of the service

**Skills & Experience**:
Possess or working towards membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Knowledge of the telecoms/broadband/utilities or construction is desirable
Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain management principles
Commercial experience around price negotiation, request for quotation and tender activity
Excellent interpersonal skills - confidence, drive, challenge, influencing skills, and communication.
Experience in the procurement of construction/infrastructure maintenance/subcontract service, Utilities and telecoms
Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in delivering procurement cost savings.
