The role is based in a Workshop based at the Chevron Facility in Sharston, Manchester.
The normal working day is between 07:00 and 16:00 on Monday to Thursday and between 07:30 and 13:00 on Friday. 30 minutes is provided for lunch.
**Job Purpose**
Perform all painting and associated activities within the Workshop
**Job Accountabilities**
Ensure all Heath and Safety risk assessments, restrictions and requirements are adhered to.
Clean, Prepare, mask and paint aircraft parts in both composite and metal materials
Perform protective treatments using Chromate Conversion
Perform Paint stripping of metallic components
Perform abrasion paint removal of composite materials to a satisfactory condition.
Ensure all documentation is correctly understood, completed and all planned tasks are carried out accurately and in order.
Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained regularly.
Other tasks as required by Senior Management.
**Experience**:
- Experience aircraft painter
- Knowledge of paint schemes
- Understanding of Health and Safety within a Paint Shop environment
