ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of an Embroidery Machinist are to ensure orders are produced efficiently and dispatched on time.

This includes checking stock off, hooping up for the embroidery machines, loading the dst file onto the machine and ensuring its correct by running a sample, then running the job on the machine. Trimming and packing and ensuring the job matches the internal paperwork and is correct.

Duties to include

1. Maintaining the embroidery machines daily and recording in file.

2. Check off stock and prepare orders to go onto the machines ensuring it matches internal paperwork.

3. Setting up the machine with the correct threads and sampling

4. Run jobs on the machines ensuring accuracy

5. Trim and pack finished embroidered garments.

6. Keep work area clean and tidy and hoover daily.

7. Highlight any issues with stock shortages at the earliest opportunity.

8. Manage any consumables needed for producing garments

9. Always ensure accuracy.

10. Print Transfer garments as required include weeding and masking.

11. Any other reasonable request as part of a small team.

PREFERRED SKILLS

1. 2. Previous Embroidery Machine operating experience or knowledge of industrial sewing machines

3. Work well on your own and as part of a team.

4. Eye for detail to spot mistakes or issues

5. Good organizational and time management

6. Flexibility according to task ADDITIONAL NOTES Must be confident and have attention to detail.

Two roles 20 hours afternoons 1-5

or Full time 9.00 to 5.00

A trial paid shift will be required as part of the interview process.

**Salary**: £23,400.00-£24,277.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
