Winter Hgv Drivers

**Driver Hire Inverness** are seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver for work throughout the winter in the Dufftown area

We are recruiting for the below role for an ASAP start
- Undertake winter operations.
- This role is based on a shift rotation pattern, mainly consisting of one week on, one week off, with standy by requirements for your week on.
- You will be driving a Class 2 vehicle with a gritter and snow plough attachment, so must be comfortable driving in adverse weather conditions.
- When not gritting other duties including working in the yard are required, In periods of good weather making yourself available for other duties.
- Carry out vehicle checks prior to shift starting, correctly filling in defect books
- Road maintenance in line with adverse weather conditions.
- Flexible in response to unexpected changes in weather
- Option of more hours available on a different contract for your week off, if you desired.

**Requirements**:

- Category C entitlement on your UK Driving Licence
- Valid Drivers CPC And Digi card
- No more than 6 points on your licence with no DR offences within the past 6 years.
- You will be provided with training covering working in adverse weather conditions and route familiarisation, however, experience working on winter patrols and/or within a civils environment would be an advantage
