**Senior Energy Consultant**

**Salary**: £45k - £58k Bonus Scheme

Permanent / Full Time
Reports to: Operations Director
Location: Home-based in West London/M4 corridor, with extensive UK travel

**Qualifications**
- Recognised degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
- Minimum of ten years' experience in energy and/or environmental management
- Chartered Engineer status or post-graduate qualification
- Membership of recognised professional body

**Role Requirements**
- Self-starter and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good customer-facing skills and commercially aware
- Computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- ESOS Lead assessor (Desirable)
- Good working knowledge of ISO 50001 (Desirable)
- IPMVP or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience across a range of sectors including industrial, commercial and NHS (Desirable)

**Objectives**
- Take responsibility for appointed projects, assignments or specified elements of a project or assignment as directed by the Operations Director or specific Project Manager
- Deliver high-quality work to often demanding timescales, which meets the agreed scope of work
- Support other members of the team and company as required to meet personal, team and company objectives
- Comply with the company's ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2011 accredited Documented Management Systems (DMS)
- Communicate effectively and openly with all levels of staff
- Lead small teams of Consultants and peers on larger assignments
- Conduct ESOS and bespoke energy and feasibility surveys to meet specified customer requirements, including carrying out site surveys, collecting data, analysing data, and writing reports
- Conduct monitoring and targeting assignments, including collecting utility consumption and cost data, setting energy budgets and targets, tracking and reporting performance, and identifying utility saving opportunities
- Implement utility reduction and other utility-related projects on customers' site
- Manage and/or support customers in managing the various carbon management schemes, eg EU ETS, CCA and EPC
- Provide utility purchasing support and advice
- Identify and qualify sales prospects for development into potential sales opportunities
- Identify further business opportunities within our customer portfolio
- Communicate regularly with staff and customers on job-specific progress
