Job Accountabilities:
Working for Great Oaks, a fully qualified and insured company, you'd be expected to adhere to regular audits to ensure we as a Team are working in line with current legislation and to the appropriate standards when we undertake tree works and tree felling operations. The current requirement you'd be expected to work towards where applicable is British Standard 3998: Recommendations for tree work, 2010.
We're looking for somebody who can get stuck in right away and offer the full range of Arboriculture Services for both domestic and commercial tree work clients, completing each task to the highest standard.
Tree work operations undertaken by Great Oaks include the following:
- Formative pruning
- Crown thinning
- Crown lifting
- Crown reduction and reshaping
- Pollarding
- Removal of deadwood
- Bracing - flexible and rigid
- Hedge work and climbing plant maintenance
- Felling
Experience and certification in working with MEWPs would be an advantage but not essential.
Your own means of transport and being able to commute to the Wesham area reliably is an absolute must.
The successful applicant will be provided with P.P.E, quarterly staff reviews, career development and educational CPD training. There is also potential to progress through the company for the right person.
**Essential Skills/Qualifications and Experience**:
- CS 30 / CS 31 (Level 3) Maintenance, Cross-Cutting and Felling
- CS 38 (Level 3) Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue,
- CS 39 (Level 2) Operate a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness
- A full, driver’s license is essential with a Trailer License
- City & Guilds Aerial Tree Rigging
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work)
- PTS

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
