**Tradebe are looking for a Technical Assessor (Chemist) for our expanding team at Fawley, Hampshire.**
**Main purpose of the role**:
- This role entails, both technically assessing enquiries generated by sales staff and also co-ordinating inputs by assigning waste categories and delivery dates.
- To liaise closely with the Customer Services, Sales and Operational departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- To ensure, from a technical assessment standpoint, compliance with current legislation and company procedures for all waste quotations and company technical assessment actions.
- To strive for complete customer satisfaction.
- A Chemistry Degree/HNC or equivalent is required for this role.
**Pay and Benefits**:
- £26k to 31k per annum depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour week
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Up to 10% quarterly bonus
- 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Technically assess waste enquiries generated by the sales staff
- Ensure compliance with current legislation for all waste quotations
- Assist in the management of the bookings system.
- Perform the sales order “approval stage”
- Mange sample receipt/liaise with lab to ensure correct analysis is undertaken
- Cover production administration function as required.
- Ensure compliance of all waste quotes with site permits & waste management licences.
- Identify appropriate disposal routes for all packaged waste.
- Liaise with operations, compliance, sales and customer services to ensure customer satisfaction
- To manage and liaise with Tradebe sites for inbound/outbound waste from or to the Fawley site.
- To carry out the administration of site SAP requirements.
- To ensure that customers’ requirements are met by providing the pivotal link between central customer services, transport and site operations.
- To assist with the maintenance and control of the site management systems, to include document control, preparation of data and attending reviews where necessary.
- Assist in the resolution of Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) and to assist in their resolution, completing & filing NCR documents, liaising with relevant personnel.
