Due to our continued growth, we now are looking to recruit a new colleague into our highly collaborative Property & Facilities function, to support the Facilities Manager and Energy & Environmental Manager with the day-to-day management and operational activities in line with all health and safety, environmental and company procedures, related to general legislation requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in ensuring an effective and efficient service is delivered in accordance with SCC ISO management systems and procedures (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001, 50001)
- Assist in the management of all SCC properties by ensuring the sites are legislatively compliant, safe and are kept maintained
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance liaising with appointed contractors and external parties
- Control the implementation and adherence to Company H&S, Environmental and Energy Policies, continually seeking opportunities for improvement
- Check and maintain site safety records and related statutory, regulatory, legal and industry certification to maintain compliance with all company Policies
- Carry out audit & compliance checks, highlighting and addressing any failures or poor practice concerns
- Support the management with audit & compliance identified non-conformance completion and maintain evidence of corrective action
- Assisting with the coordination of H&S aspects of maintenance work
- Review/maintain/complete health and safety documentation/action trackers and management systems
- Oversee general property and facilities maintenance across all sites
- Ensure that buildings/properties/equipment are compliant with legislative requirements (e.g., H&S, Fire, PAT Testing) and that all necessary records are complete and up to date
- Monitor health and safety risk and hazards in the workplace and rectify or report
- Take ownership of the PPM schedule & Reactive Maintenance jobs

**Key skills/experiences**:

- Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or have proven strong health and safety/compliance skills
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Always willing to be involved in other activities to achieve company objectives
- Works collaboratively & uses influence to gain resolution of issues
- Demonstrates honesty, loyalty & commitment and act in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with both internal and external customers
- Work in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures
- Ability to carry out and complete regular audit & compliance checks and reports
