**Hours**:37.5 hours per week

Our client, a well-respected charity, dedicated to supporting victims of crime and traumatic incidents, are looking for a CYP Caseworker to join their team.

You would be supporting children and young people who have been impacted by Domestic Abuse.

**Synopsis of duties**:

- Supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse
- Making initial contact with victims of crime, conducting risk assessments and tailored support plans
- Developing and delivering innovative interventions to address the needs of children and young people who are victims of crime
- Managing a caseload of children and young people and providing tailored support to meet their individual needs
- Following safeguarding procedures, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to
- Providing information and advocacy to service users and providing support through the Criminal Justice System
- Signposting service users to external agencies/professionals for further support with complex needs
- Multiagency working to improve the outcomes for the children and young people

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people who have experienced trauma
- Must understand the impact of crime on victims, such as: Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence, Hate Crime and Antisocial Behaviour)
- Experience managing a caseload
- Experience conducting risk and needs assessments
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System
- Must drive and have access to a vehicle
- Must have an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: £25,500.00 per year

**Experience**:

- working with vulnerable children: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and car (required)
- Enhanced Adult and Children Workforce DBS (required)
