Jig Setter

As a Jig Setter, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by setting up and maintaining jigs, fixtures, and tooling for various production processes. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that components are accurately positioned and securely held in place during machining or assembly.

**Responsibilities**:
Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Ensure proper alignment and positioning of workpieces within the jig or fixture.

Verify the accuracy of setups using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Perform routine maintenance on jigs and fixtures to keep them in optimal working condition.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to jig setups or performance.

Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.

Please note: Heavy lifting is involved.

You as the new Jig Setter will demonstrate the following:

- Ability to use common hand tools.
- Physically fit and able to move wooden structures around the factory.
- Committed to ensuring work is of high standard to maximise quality.

We currently have an opportunity on afternoons, the working hours are:
2:30pm - 11pm Monday-Thursday then 1pm-8pm Friday

Pay rate is £10.90 per hour (£11.44 from 1st April)
