Maintenance Engineer

Midas Personnel are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading Manufacturing company in Northampton. In your role as an Maintenance Engineer, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working which will be both day and nights shifts,with a salary of £30,000 per annum (Plus a 35% shift allowance).

Days: 7am - 7pm

Nights 7pm - 7am

**Your responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer will include**:

- Repair and preventative maintenance of production equipment
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Assisting in parts control and waste management
- Liaise with equipment and spares suppliers and specialist service providers
- Implementing of equipment improvements

**We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who has the following skills and experiences**:

- Electrical engineering experience to include low and high voltage working.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic systems and the operation & use of PLCs.
- Ability to read and understand equipment wiring schematics.

- Familiar with the use of hazardous substances.
- Experience working in a engineering team environment
- An HND or Degree in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline (or equivalent)
