For Champagne + Fromage Covent Garden, we are currently looking for a positive-thinking and passionate restaurant waiter/waitress, someone who assists the customers by noting the orders, serving tables, and preparing bills. Furthermore, someone who is responsible for asking customers if they are satisfied with their meal and providing any assistance should the customer not be satisfied.

To be successful as a restaurant waiter/waitress, you must have the endurance to stand for long hours and have patience with difficult customers. A good waiter anticipates the needs of customers, provides all services in a friendly manner and must be able to multitask.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and hand out menus
- Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen
- Make menu recommendations and inform customers of any specials
- Prepare Nibbles and Boards
- Prepare beverages and deliver them to the Table
- Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
- Check that customers are satisfied with their meal
- Prepare the bill for tables when requested
- Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid
- Administer change to tables if needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the FOH area

As a restaurant waiter/waitress you will be required to be available during the busiest time of the year including bank holidays and festivities (such as Christmas time, New Year’s Eve and Easter). Holidays will have to be requested in advance and approved by your manager (please refer to your contract for more details).
