Night Porter

We are one of the areas leading independent hotels with a long rooted family history. We have an excellent reputation with a clean and focused brand. A family feel and good local service are at the heart of this hospitality business.

We are looking for a night porter to work 3 nights per week and holiday/sick cover. To succeed within this role, you will be computer literate, have good attention to detail, be smart in appearance, friendly and welcoming.

Duties

This is a multi task role and you will be responsible for the security and safety of the hotel and its guests which is of paramount importance.

The role requires that you will be a lone worker therefore you must be a competent person who is able to deal with any issues that arise.

Excellent references will be required for this position.

Fire and Security

Setting up and cleaning of event rooms

General portering duties

Dealing with customers issues in a friendly and competent manner

Reception duties - Computer skills are required as you will be required to use our reservation system to check guests in and out.

Bar work, service of drinks preparation of light snacks

Breakfast set up and service

Cleaning of the public areas

Room service and cleaning of rooms

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £9.70-£10.70 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
