Senior Quality Inspector job vacancy or Chief Inspector Quality Engineer for a precision machining CNC manufacturing company. Quality Inspection experience, plus additional skills in either quality team leader or inspection supervisor roles, or metrology engineer experience, and the ability to read technical drawings and use dimensional measurement tools like micrometres, calipers, vernier, and some experience with CMM, coordinate measuring machines or Faro Arm.

- Growing team with good job security because they have customers in lots of different sectors: Customers include rail, medical, aero, automotive, agricultural machinery, specialist equipment
- Lots of new equipment in the inspection area, and also investing in additional new equipment.
- Some flexibility on shift patterns; additional £150/week shift allowance for regular afternoon shift (2.00pm-10.00pm), also some £150/week for shift patterns alternating each week between mornings (6.00am-2.00pm and afternoons (2.00pm-10.00pm).
- Parking on site, and they are not in a town/urban traffic-jam area. Easy to get to.
- Profitable growing business, globally recognised customers.
- Components are typically turned/threaded bar or hand-sized components (lots of turned parts, plus some milling and boring).
- Training on CCM can be given if you’ve not used their specific machine before. They have Mitutoyo CMM which they use mainly, plus FARO arm, and micrometres, calipers, vernier hand tools.
- There is the capability for lights-out inspection too.
- Typically 10% inspection / 90% visual inspection.
- This job will suit a person that has either team leader / supervisor skills, or metrology skills, in a CNC precision quality inspection production workplace.

Total pay if working shifts £42,000-£45,000 + pension + bonus.£36,000-38,000 without shifts.
