MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with our new Cookstown client who are an ambitious international Jewellery company with customers throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. Due to a surge in demand, the company are seeking a **Buyer **to join their expanding team. Working with the sales team and manufacturing partners across the world, you will manage all stock movements within the business through sales forecasting and sales history. You will also be responsible for the buying and development of new product.

**Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to**:

- Successfully forecast our stock requirements using historical and forecasted sales figures.
- Work to maximize profits through just in time production, and improve efficiencies in deliveries to us and our customers
- Provide assistance in the analysis the full life cycle of our products and implement change where necessary
- Work with designers to manage new product launches, product promotions and POS
- Work with our existing supply chain to develop new product
- Managing relationships with our customers ordering departments
- Dealing with our own team in Asia and global suppliers to manage production and quality and that they adhere to our shipping/ production requirements
- Identify and implement new procedures to ensure our products adhere to global consumer protections laws
- Manage all returns from our customers and the redistribution of stock
- Maintain an extensive database of all customer information to include historical sales data
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with shipping companies
- Preparation and delivery of monthly reports as required to the sales team and senior management

**Essential Criteria**:

- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Capability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to work out budgets and understand sales figures.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

- Cookstown, County Tyrone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
