We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Dietician to join our team covering HMP Bullingdon and HMP Huntercombe.

HMP Bullingdon is a Category B local and resettlement men's prison and HMP Huntercombe is Category C foreign nationals men's prison.

**Hours**

This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week split as 3 days at HMP Bullingdon and 2 days at HMP Huntercombe. You must be able to travel to both sites.

**Salary**

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £25500 per annum - depending on experience

**What you'll be doing**:
As an Assistant Dietician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Screen patients to collect a range of qualitative and quantitative data by a range of methods
including face to face and telephone.
- Deliver behaviour change weight management and self-management for long term conditions
group and 1:1 sessions to patients under supervision of the
dietitian.
- Be responsible for collating Patient Information - including dietary information packs to
support the education sessions delivered
- Be responsible for teaching patients the skills required to change their diets and physical
activity safely. This includes correct food hygiene, weighing, menu planning, recipe adaptation
and safe physical activity behaviours.
