Forest School Leader

Eduation Enterprise School Sport Partnership is looking for the right person to inspire the next generation to connect with nature through outdoor learning across schools and nurseries from Sept 2023.

Objective is to help children fall in love with the natural world while gaining confidence in themselves and their abilities.

We work with nurseries, primary and secondary schools and direct with parents, with children from 2 years upwards, travelling to their site to deliver programmes of activities all year round.

Prepare your sessions, deliver the sessions on site and evaluate how those sessions have gone so that the learning journey can be mapped and improved upon.

As part of your development, you would then help to improve and refine our programme, bringing new and creative ways to help children to love the natural world.

Person specification: Able to drive and have their own transport, reliability, impeccable time keeping, ability to make good decisions under pressure, a positive outlook, a passion for nature, good organisational skills, ability to engage children, parents and teachers.

Transferable skills: Any outdoor pursuits qualifications, experience of working with children (coaching, scouts), Forest School Leader/ Assistant, ex-forces personnel.

Please note: All successful applicants will need to be DBS checked and provide adequate references before a final offer of employment will be made.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 14-18 per week

**Salary**: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
