Matron for Community Services

We are looking for a Matron to permanently join our innovative and supportive community nursing leadership team. You will need to be experienced in District Nursing and leadership, with a passion for quality and integrated care in the community setting.
You will be part of the integrated community services senior leadership and management group, working collaboratively with Allied Health Professional Clinical Leads and Operational Managers, as well as working closely with community nursing specialist team leads.
The role centres on providing clinical leadership for District Nursing in the North locality; setting, maintaining and improving quality of care standards in District Nursing; leading on clinical governance for community nursing services; the education and development of community nurses.
You will also be key in leading wider system Integrated Neighbourhood Team development in the North locality.
You will lead and line manage a countywide specialist community nursing service in addition.
You will hold a portfolio of projects that you will be responsible for leading on behalf of the team, working with various stakeholders within and outside the Trust as required.
