Principal Developer / Solution Architect

The world of property technology is continuously changing, it is fast paced and incredibly diverse. New products are regularly launched to the market place which give our clients the opportunity to offer a variety of services, enhance their customer relationshipsand create additional revenue streams. We work closely with many of these suppliers to give our clients comprehensive integration with our product.

We realise the importance of consistently investing and developing our products ensuring the most up to date legislation and working practices are available to all clients. We provide continued support with the objective to enable clients to formulate acustomised and achievable strategy in the complex and compliant heavy world of Lettings and Management.

**Responsibilities**:
? Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to gather and understand

business requirements to shape, define and document the functional and technical

approach for our milestone solutions, working closely with project management

? Identify and evaluate technology trends, and adapt thought process and solutions to

these insights to propose to key stakeholders

? Understand and participate in cost-based technology conversations with key

stakeholders, providing business value, ROI, and cost savings to technical solutions

? Work with key teams (ops/dev/support) to share functional and technical knowledge

for solutions, to ensure a consistent direction and delivery

? Taking a structured approach to software architecture, leaning on the existing

reference architecture, established architecture styles and design patterns

? Collaborate closely with project management to drive effective DevOps through

project and technical design, build, quality, and deployment, ensuring quality control

through standardised peer review

? Collaborate closely with technical teams to mentor, share knowledge, approaches,

understand team challenges in defined solutions, and needs of the teams to mitigate

delivery risks and minimise technical debt

? Provide new insights and improvements to existingintellectual property, to

identify skill gaps in team knowledge, provide training to upskill, and ensuring the

reuse of existing intellectual property across the solution

**Minimum Requirements
? A high level of competency and experience in technology solutions, software

development, architecture, and/or consultancy

? Scalable cloud, preferably Azure, solution architecture experience using established

design patterns, microservice frameworks (Kubernetes), containerisation (Docker),

Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) services, authentication, and security

? Experience working collaboratively with internal and external project stakeholders,

comfortable communicating in a business context

? Project management experience

? Proven experience in successful DevOps delivery of large-scale distributed systems

? CI/CD experience, preferably Azure Pipelines

? Programming experience in technologies used in Azure solutions, preferably C#,

JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, YAML

? Current or previous experience as a principal, lead, Solution Architect or senior

developer/engineer
