The Warehouse Assistant will closely support the Warehouse Manager in completing various tasks to maintain the day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, the receiving of goods and ensuring the right goods are received in the right quantities; storing and putting away products within designated areas; and the picking, packing, and distribution of goods and products to the specified destinations. They will also work closely with our install division and support the filling and unloading of materials.

The role includes:
**Warehouse**
- Unloading, loading, and processing products in a safe working manner.
- Ensure waste is correctly and sustainably disposed of.
- Maintain warehouse to a high standard which is clean and in line with health & safety policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Complete Forklift maintenance check sheets daily and ensure any faults are reported to the Warehouse Manager via the correct procedure.
- Conduct stock checks when required and complete relevant actions such as obtain more stock or deliver to a suitable destination. Assist the asset management process.

**Team relationships**
- Build great working relationships with all staff.
- Foster a collaborative and cross functional working environment.
- Facilities management
- Assist with the site opening and closing.
- Support with the completion of ad-hoc site refurbishments and décor touch-ups.

- Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy, and ethical standards.
- Carry out the responsibilities of the position in accordance with the Company’s policies and behave and interact with colleagues and customers in accordance with the Company’s relevant standards.
- Perform the duties associated with the position, as well as other duties reasonably requested by the Company.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Proven experience within a similar role.
- Valid full driving licence.
- Experience of stock control.

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
- Forklift licence or willingness to complete
- First Aid trained or willingness to complete
- Able to safely carry out the physical requirements of the position: Lifting weight up to 30kg
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously
