Groundsperson / Gardener

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual to join a family owned and managed Estate in East Sussex. The gardens are currently managed by the Head Gardener along with input from the owners and other part time staff.

The Estate comprises stunning woodlands and extensive pasture stretching over 500 acres. In the immediate vicinity of the Manor House there are twenty acres of private gardens containing formal herbaceous areas, lawns, two lakes, a river, orchard, walled kitchen garden, glasshouse as well as other self-contained gardens. The family vision is to achieve an Estate that is highly sustainable, supports a rich array of biodiversity whilst also being maintained to a high standard. The family have a strong ecological approach to gardening promoting organic practices and maintaining natural and wild areas.

The Manor House and the gardens are currently undergoing a significant renovation project which will include re-developing many areas of the garden.

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
