Poultry Farm

We are a local, family run Broiler Breeder Poultry business and we are looking for someone to work a day at the weekend at our farm near Whimple. Our preference is for Sundays and there may be an opportunity to work more days if wanted.

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming working environment within our team. Experience is not essential, however reliability and a willingness to learn is important. Training will be provided and if this is of interest we would like to hear from you.

Applicants’ responsibilities would include:

- Caring for the chickens to the highest standard which would include daily welfare checks and support with feeding.
- Packing, grading and storing of hatching eggs, using our automated systems to support.
- Have excellent time keeping and attendance
- Have a positive attitude towards work
- Have a commitment to maintaining the welfare of the birds.
- Have good attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team and independently
- Have transport

**One day at the weekend - Sunday is preferred.**

**Hours of work: 6am - 2.30pm.**

**Wages are competitive and will be discussed depending on your age and level of experience.**
