Remote, United Kingdom SSAFA Full time

**About the role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time (12 months fixed term) Casework Administrator to join our regional team in the East of England.

Reporting to the Regional Casework Manager, you will be part of a small, friendly regional office team who provide specialist administrative support to our branches in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. Working closely with SSAFA volunteers, you will help to deliver a consistent, timely and quality service to our beneficiaries in the Armed Forces community. You will provide support to the volunteer network including our volunteer caseworkers. Day to day, the regional team handles and triages calls, signposts callers to other agencies as necessary and administers cases on the casework management system. An important part of this role is to build great relationships with other Armed Forces charities, local authorities and charitable trusts and groups.

To help you get established, you will receive an induction to SSAFA and excellent training. You may be expected to attend a short caseworker’s course at one of our locations around the country. We will provide you with everything you need to carry out your role. Our leave and benefits package is very competitive but more than that, you will have the opportunity to do amazing work for amazing people.
