The role of HR Apprentice will be to provide HR administration support to the department in all areas of HR and employee lifecycle including. This will be worked alongside supporting you with a CIPD Level 3 qualification.

**The responsibilities of the HR Assistant Apprentice role include** (but are not limited to):

- Commit to undertake a CIPD Level 3 HR Apprenticeship with Wiltshire College 1 day per week.
- Assist with setting up starters & leavers - producing new starter packs, completing and chasing necessary correspondence.
- Create, update and maintain the personnel files, ensuring this is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update Time & Attendance system and HRIS including supporting with queries and basic level training, data implementation and reporting.
- Log and process monthly payroll and HR data, ensuring data and reporting is accurately provided by required deadlines.
- Be responsible for arranging medical surveillance for employees relating to Occupational Health and Drugs and Alcohol. This is to include appointment dates and coordination with colleagues to attend.
- Complete and maintain temporary worker reports; liaise with Agencies as applicable.
- Respond to low level HR queries, as they arise.

**HR Assistant Apprentice Specification**:

- Right to live and work in the UK, with ability to obtain basic level security clearance.
- Willing to study towards qualification and continuously develop in the role.
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate ability to work within a multi-functional team.
- Be a good communicator across all levels of the business.
- Proficient MS Office skills.
- Works on a site goverened by the Explosives Regulations Act (2014), so must be over 18 years old.

**The HR Apprentice role will be worked over a 4.5 day working week, Mon - Friday with 1 day allocated to college. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team**_**.**_
