**Role Purpose**:
This is initially a 6 month fixed term position.

**Responsibilities***:

- Manages the day to day demands of the role, supporting diverse businesses/line managers across a busy, thriving Fulfilment and Contact Centre environments
- Supports and liaise with wider HR Team & Payroll Manager to ensure an efficient and timely service is being provided to your people in relation to payroll issues, onboarding, people-change situations, and form processing
- Provides guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring that good practice is followed consistently and best practice is shared across the team
- Provide support and assistance when required to HR Business Partner
- Support in production of relevant ‘New Starter’ paperwork & other general administration
- Assist the L&D Team with the Induction process for new employees
- Processing and recording of sickness absence
- Processing all employee changes via internal HR system ensuring records are up to date
- Administering Awardco our employee recognition & reward platform
- Supporting on site engagement activities with wider HR Team
- Being a visible HR presence on site GEMBA walks and when based at the HR Pitstop
- Co-ordinate Maternity information
- Co-ordinate/conduct Exit Interviews
- Involvement in Employee Relations processes e.g. Investigations and escalate complex people matters to HRBP.
- Assist HRBP to co-ordinate HR related training to line managers
- Liaises with the relevant OH provider to ensure effective management of long term absence, working collaborating with Health & Safety stakeholders, as necessary
- Supporting HRBP/Agency Account Manager with Agency related people matters.
- The job duties list is not exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope /level of the role.
- You may also be required from time to time to work outside of the core hours of 8am - 6pm including but not limited to providing support at peak periods and during hot markets. This may involve occasional weekend and late-night working.

- Build and develop working relationships at all levels of the business, building a network of key stakeholders.
- Adherence to the highest degree of professionalism and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Previous HR Experience desirable
- Part CIPD qualified/willing to work towards CIPD is desirable
- Basic understanding of Employment Legislation and best practice
- Proven experience of dealing with sensitive/confidential matters
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in an unsupervised environment with a proactive approach to work
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
