Our client is seeking a full time and permanent NPI Administrator who will be an integral part of the Quality Team collecting and collating the information for new and modifying existing products in line with written briefs and assisting with the delivery of these products.
You will have cross-functional skills allowing you to define and implement continuous improvement in all areas of new product introduction. You will ensure that the highest level of quality and process effectiveness is built into the manufacturing process. The role will interface with the Technical, Design Sales and Production in multiple locations, to ensure successful development and introduction of new products.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Reporting to the Quality Manager the NPI Administrator will be responsible on driving the new product through the introduction process, preparing other departments for its implementation, ready for manufacture. They will ensure all aspects are effectively managed and completed, to facilitate successful release while achieving project deadlines with respect to our customer requirements.
**New Product Introduction**:
Responsible for the transfer of new products from submission to manufacturing.
Work with Technical and Quality in developing manufacturing assembly and test processes.
Identifying areas for improvement within current processes and procedures
Track system status
Control and monitor feedback between Technical and Production
Monitoring and reporting on the status of Product Amendments
Provide support to Manufacturing team to meet customer orders and project deliverables.
Other tasks will be identified as the role develops.
**ABOUT YOU**:
Experience and knowledge of Excel
Confidence in using IT software.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on, flexible, and able to complete tasks on time using appropriate planning tools and with a minimum of supervision.
Experienced in working with multiple teams.
Experience in a fast-moving environment.
