**Duration**: 3 to 6 months

**Hours**: 7:15am until 4pm (Monday to Friday)

**Salary**: £14.55 per hour

**Job Reference**: 34960

Polytec are looking for a Materials Controller for our Cambourne based client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Run reports on SAP daily
- Ensure processes start on time meeting material requirements
- Check and approve shipments accurately and timely
- Manage missing part process taking necessary steps to ensure timely corrective action
- Manage the cycle counting process
- Escalate process issues to 3rd party logistics company management
- Generate performance reports based on data measure with the aim to improve flow of material

**Requirements**:

- Full clean driving licence
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using SAP for material management
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
