**THE ROLE**
This role is designed to provide support during the weekly and monthly payroll process by collating, amending, and processing payroll by collating information from managers, timesheets, and the HR system.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Collating and updating payroll documents ready for the weekly/monthly payroll runs
- Process monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, pensions auto-enrolment and loans deductions and uploading to the provider.
- Liaising with managers to ensure timesheets and overtime are correctly logged.
- Checking payroll reports to ensure all information is correctly captured.
- Answering any payroll related queries.
- Comparing payroll runs and flagging any inconsistencies.
- Preparing monthly headcount reports following the finalisation of payroll.
- Preparation of new excel sheets for the following months payroll.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required, ensuring flexibility and complying with any reasonable requests made by your line manager.
- Collation of all benefits information To ensure accurate P11d reporting
- Issuing P60, P11d and P45s
- Liaising with HMRC where required.
- Work with HR team and operational teams to ensure accuracy of data
- Management of company sick pay reporting of absence management issues
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**:
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to adapt workload with changing priorities.
**DESIRABLE SKILLS**:
- Experience working in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Understanding of ADP payroll & HRIS
**PACKAGE**:
- Location Remote working
- 18 hours per week
- Flexitime Business core hours are 8am-5pm
- Annual Leave 25 days + bank holidays (pro-rated)
- Salary competitive £20,000 - £22,000 (pro-rated)
