Glazing Surveyor

We are recruiting for a Glazing Surveyor who is able to measure and process sliding doors and bi-folds, generally into new build projects and extensions within the Berkshire area.

The role will include establishing datums and levels and taking measurements for manufacturing on a wide range of high specification glazing products. Once you have taken the measurements and identified any technical, installation and Health & Safety issues, you will have to draw up the details using AutoCAD and process the paperwork. The role will involve travel throughout the company's catchment area and will involve working in people's properties.

Applicants will need to be an experienced Glazing Surveyor with a good understanding of Building Regulations and different glazing profiles in aluminium, ali-clad and other materials. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of the installation process with a suitable qualification in Surveying. A knowledge of AutoCAD would also be desirable and applicants will need to display a thorough and detailed approach to their work.

The role will involve working for a prestigious glazing business that is well-established and typically works within a 20 mile radius of their office, with most of their work coming via referrals and recommendations.
