An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team within the Specialist Receiving Unit (SRU).

SRU is a 23 bedded admissions unit comprising four specialist patient groups. The majority of our patients are Oncology patients, however we also accept patients from Haematology, Infectious Diseases and Renal specialities. This variation in specialities creates an interesting and well-supported environment with daily senior reviews from each speciality facilitating fantastic learning opportunities. As Nottingham Is a leading cancer centre receiving tertiary referrals across the East Midlands our unit can be busy, but we have a large team of doctors, ACPs, nurses, allied health professionals and pharmacists to provide excellent patient care. Our work has been recognised nationally and we have been awarded a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for the standard of service offered to our patients.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic qualified ACP to join our motivated team. We are continuously striving to improve the care we offer and welcome new ideas and initiatives to achieve this goal. Although oncology experience is desirable, if you are looking for a new challenge and would like to join our team on SRU we would provide support to develop your skills and knowledge and to achieve any competencies specific to this area. This support will be tailored to your needs.
