We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join a leading accountancy practice based in Camden. **Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documents
- Assist with the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- General ad hoc duties as and when required

**Requirements**:

- AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Must have experience with Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
