We have grown rapidly over the past 10 years to create a highly successful business that does a huge amount of great work for individuals and families who are (or are at risk of) homelessness.

The growth achieved to date has been in part organic and achieved through the dedication and hard work of a core team. However, we now recognise that our next phase of growth will take us into ever increasing areas of regulatory oversight, financial scrutiny and the wider public sector arena.

They will work closely with senior leadership, particularly the Managing Directors and COO to effectively articulate the company’s purpose and drive through the creation of engaging and comprehensive bid responses and tender submissions.

You will have proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably within the temporary accommodation or a related sector, along with the utilisation of national bid portals for tender submissions. Your exceptional writing skills and eye for detail will be clearly evident and you will use your project management skills to effectively handle multiple tender submission. With well developed interpersonal and communication skills you will be able to reach out to and work effectively with stakeholders and the internal team to drive success in the bids you submit.

This is a remote working role with the requirement to attend the Head Office in Luton not less than once a month to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders and to fully immerse yourself in the company culture. If additional time is required, then the role holder will be expected to attend the office as required.

During times when bid activity is quieter the role holder will be encouraged to participate in other companywide activities such as the More Than a Roof charity initiative.

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
