Gardener/ Handyperson

We are looking for an experienced Gardener / Handyperson to look after a large private garden and grounds near Tarporley.

The house is a very pretty thatched cottage with beautiful grounds. The gardens are mainly lawns with some mixed shrub beds. There is a small lake & extensive wild flower meadows.

There is a barn with tractors, mowers & everything needed for garden maintenance. There is also a separate building next to the house used as a party / playroom & also in the fields a log cabin used as a BBQ cabin. Gardener’s mess room & toilet.

The gardens can be easily managed but the gardener should be experienced & knowledgeable.

Other duties include anything & everything connected with managing the property to a high standard.

Minor running repairs inside the house - changing lightbulbs etc. Ordering heating oil, chopping logs & carrying them into the house. Two cars to wash & clean. Six hens to look after, two dogs to sometimes be walked & fed when the owner is away.

Power washing of patios, maintaining fences & painting as required.

The successful applicant should be experienced in gardening & capable of minor DIY jobs, personable, respectful & trustworthy.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
