Domestic Cleaner

We currently have roles in our housekeeping department for part time or full-time members of the team.

The normal hours of work are 10 am to 4.30 pm. Hours can be flexible around prior commitments when agreed at interview. Shifts are available throughout the week, but all team members must be available to work weekend dates on either a Friday, Saturday, or a Sunday.

The properties must all be cleaned to a high standard, whilst experience would be a benefit it is not essential, full training for those with no experience will be provided.

The role will involve the cleaning of the holiday homes on the Estate. The houses range from 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom in size. All cleaning materials are provided by the Estate.

You will be given designated houses to clean in the morning when you arrive on the Estate. Each cleaner has their own houses so you can develop your own system for cleaning and rotating cleaning jobs within the houses.

Due to the location of the Estate a car would be helpful, however we are on the Stagecoach bus route.

The rate of pay will start at national minimum wage. Once you have started and your cleaning has been assessed to be of a satisfactory standard the hourly rate will be set to £8.50 to £9.50 per hour, you will be entitled to a cleaner’s hourly bonus. This is an added £1.50 per hour and is performance based.
