**Salary**: £37,951 (Includes call-out allowance)
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK
Contract: Full-time, Mornings & Afternoon shifts.
Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a new challenge?
We are pleased to be supporting Sheffield-based leading independent aerospace and industrial forgings manufacturers in the recruitment of a new maintenance Electrician. The company boasts a 14-acre site with facilities for heat treatment, testing, inspection,and machining.
As their newly appointed maintenance electrician, you will work as part of a team to ensure that the company is able to operate safely and efficiently.
About the Job:

- Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Installation of new plant
- Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
- Development and upgrading of existing equipment
- Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
- Reactive Maintenance
- Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
About You:

- Experience in a heavy duty industrial environment.
- Experience of fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work.
- Preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding on PLC.
- Pro-active and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- A fully skilled Electrician who has an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and a 17th Edition qualification
What would make you stand out? (Desirable)
- Experience in PAT testing.
- Experience in multi-skilled working which might include mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
