Kitchen Porter

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and clean, and supporting the kitchen staff as needed. Duties: - Assist with food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils - Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly - Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and surfaces in the kitchen area - Stock inventory and ensure proper storage of food items - Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Skills: - Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality setting is preferred - Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory and cleaning schedules - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays If you are passionate about working in a dynamic kitchen environment and have a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.
