Pre-construction Manager

We are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to lead and manage the full pre-construction cycle of our Sales (England & Wales) projects. The role holder will engage and lead the designated in-house team along with external consultants and sub-contractorsthroughout the bid and pre-construction phases in order to deliver high quality submissions on-time, to client expectations whilst protecting company risk and projected profit margin.

**Role Details**
- Salary: £55,000 - £58,000
- Role based: York - Head Office
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

**Role Responsibilities**
- Develop relationships with both the project and client team, to achieve best position at contract award.
- Devise a strategy as to ensure achievable buildability, with mínimal risk, maximising off-site construction in line with Employers Requirements/technical documents and budget.
- Ensure Contractors Proposals meet the Employers Requirements. Where Employers Requirements can't be met ensure suitable derogations are included within the Contractors Proposals.
- Ensure the transfer to the construction phase is successful by presenting contractors proposals to the Operational and Manufacturing teams. Support scheme Project Managers as appropriate during the initial stages of delivery.

- Been educated to degree level
- Successfully managed pre-construction activity from tender to contract award
- Led people in multi-disciplined teams
- Experience in project risk management
- Experience measuring and reporting pre-construction progress and performance
