Are you passionate about equipping students with essential functional skills? This Functional Skills Tutor role is designed for individuals who thrive in the secondary education environment. Working with small groups, this position provides a unique opportunity to empower students with functional skills, preparing them for success beyond the classroom.
The great thing about this rule is the fact that there is "ZERO PLANNING" so you can simply focus on getting to know the pupils in your care and take no work home or do any work over the weekend.
**Job Title**: Functional Skills Tutor - Educational Empowerment (no planning)
**Location**: Derby
**Age Range**: Secondary
**Setting**: School, Functional Skills Groups
**Rate**: £150 - £180 per day
**Type of Contract**: Temporary Role - Long-term Temp Contract (Opportunities for Permanent Contracts Available)
**Type of Role**: Full-time
**Days a Week**: Monday to Friday
**Hours**: 08:15 - 15:30
**Qualifications Needed**: Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, ESOL, QTLS, Education Studies, Cache LV3 Teaching Assistant, QTS, PGCE, or Equivalent
**Experience Needed**: Must have experience working with children or young adults, particularly in delivering functional skills
**Number of Roles Available**: 1
**Start Date**: March(Flexible for the Right Person)(no planning)

**Type of Contract**:

Effective communication is key - you should be able to communicate well with students, be adaptable, and convey your commitment to guiding them on their educational journey.
