Rapid Travel Group have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team, as an Accounts Apprentice. You will complete accredited AAT qualifications, whilst gaining practical on the job experience. We offer flexible working from home, company pension and employee discounts.

**Working week**
- Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30.
- Total hours per week: 36.25

**What you will do in your working day**

As our new Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounts team with sales ledger and purchase ledger duties. This apprenticeship provides an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience, coupled with attending college at The Grimsby Institute to gain accredited AAT accounts and bookkeeping qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Credit control
- Dealing with customer queries, and providing exceptional customer service
- Raising Direct Debit collections
- Reconciling payments
- Processing supplier payments
- Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger duties
- Providing support to our wider team, and other departments of the business
- Assist with all aspects of general administration
- Undertake all other associated duties as required

This is a remote job, with flexibility to attend our offices in the Grimsby area. You will also attend college-based training sessions once each week at The Grimsby Institute (DN34 5BQ). Full training, support and all equipment will be provided.

**The training you will be getting**
- Level 2 Accounts of Finance Assistant
- AAT Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping
- AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting A bespoke programme of practical, technical and vocational learning
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if applicable)
- If you already have AAT qualifications or accounts experience, we would be happy to look at the possibility to delivering higher level qualifications.

**Things to consider**

The majority of the working hours of this role are remote, with flexibility to attend our offices in Grimsby. All equipment will be provided. When you start the role, we’ll provide one to one support and mentoring with a requirement to attend our offices in person for 2 days each week. Whether working in our offices or working remotely, you’ll be supported with a mentor and all of our systems. As an Apprentice you will attend physical AAT training sessions at The Grimsby Institute, once each week (term time only)
