Sheetmetal Operative

Multifab Ltd is one of the leading commercial fabrication companies in the UK, specialising in high quality aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and sheet-metal fabrication. This position will report directly to the Production Manager.

Working as part of a team the role will require you to have good decision-making skills, have a quality focus, and able to resolve problems effectively.

We are after someone who has had previous sheetmetal experience, have good communication skills, able to work within a team and on their own, and has experience using sheetmetal machinery. Full training will be provided with the role.

The duties of the role are:

- Assist in the busy Sheetmetal department.
- Operate guillotine.
- Assist on press break when folding larger panels.
- Use pillar drill.
- Operate handheld Sheetmetal machinery.
- Maintain good housekeeping within the work area
- Adhere to the company Health & Safety policy and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations

The working hours for this role are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 16.00pm, Friday 7am to 13.30pm based at our Attleborough factory/office.
