Overview: We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cafe Assistant to join our team. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities: - Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are prepared according to food safety guidelines - Help with serving customers, taking orders, and handling cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment - Restock supplies as needed and notify management of any low inventory - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service - Follow all health and safety regulations Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Basic math skills for cash handling We offer competitive pay rates and a supportive work environment. **Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.20-£10.53 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
