Your role at a glance
As the Head of Programme Delivery, you will help to shape, lead and deliver the Transformation programmes within the COO function and the wider Legal & General Retirements Institutional division. You will support LGRI to drive initiatives across varying programmes to deliver the wider business strategy, evolve organisational capabilities, develop partnerships and drive strategy and innovation.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, well-being and task placement for all resources across the Transformation team. We are looking for an individual to join with an energetic, creative and collaborative approach to drive success within this role.

What you'll be doing
- Delivering a complex and challenging programme of deliverables through transformation activities, shaping and designing customer outcomes through innovation, energy and a focus on delivery
- Directing the work and outcomes of multiple delivery teams within the Transformation teams, ensuring that the work remains compliant with financial governance
- Driving cost rigour and actively challenging work that does not add value, while addressing and exceeding LGRI Transformation’s customers’ needs at every opportunity
- Building effective and valued business relationships across the COO Function and LGRI divisional stakeholders that enable the right business outcomes
- Directing a team of transformation and delivery professionals across varying team structures. Acting as a role model and thought leader and developing talent and capabilities to support a development path for team members
- Ensuring that all project and department risks are identified, monitored, and mitigated, and are appropriately reflected in risk returns

What we're looking for
- Demonstrable experience of change in the Investment and Asset Management industry
- A breadth of experience working with and implementing third party solutions in large financial services institutions and owning and managing relationships with third party consultancies
- A track record of delivery of cultural change and transformation expertise with an awareness of operating model design methodologies
- You’re a strategic and innovative thinker and are confident leading planning and decision-making processes in a complex geographical/ functional matrix organisation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with experience developing organisational capability
- You’re product and technology savvy, with an aptitude to bridge the gap between business and IT
- A collaborative leader, who freely shares their knowledge and experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills are key, you are confident engaging and influencing a broad range of individuals across various internal and external business and support functions
