Teaching Assistant needed in Formby Primary
**Your new company**
An excellent primary school in Formby are working with Hays Education in order to find an excellent teaching assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
They are a small school and were ranked 'Good' on their most recent OFSTED report. The school are looking for someone to start as soon as possible once vetting checks have been completed.
**Your new role**
The school are looking for someone who has experience working with SEN children to work as a general TA in the mornings and a 1:1 TA in the afternoon. The child you will be working with has global developmental delay, and need help in lessons to make sure theyare getting the most out of their education. The school also has a big focus on inclusion so you will help your 1:1 in their socialisations with other pupils and help make sure they feel part of the school community.
You will work in part of a team with the classroom teacher and other teaching assistants in order to deliver interesting and exciting lessons. You will work together to make sure that each lesson facilitates the needs of your 1:1.
Your most important responsibility will be to maintain the best possible standards of safeguarding in order to protect the well-being of each pupil and ensure they have a happy and safe environment to learn and flourish.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for the role, you must:

- Have recent experience working with children
- Have experience or an interest in working with SEN children
- Be patient, calm and compassionate
- Be dedicated and passionate about helping children
