Powder Coater

Join our client, a leading manufacturer of 100% recyclable aluminium frames at their state-of-the-art facility near Belper, Derbyshire. We are excited to partner with them in filling various roles, including the position of Powder Coater on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Powder Coater, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing aluminium parts for coating.

Operating coating guns and spray booths.

Baking parts at appropriate temperatures.

Conducting quality checks to ensure high standards.

Maintaining and cleaning equipment.

**There can be spraying involved occasionally - using hand guns**

To be successful as a Powder Coater, you will need:
Previous experience in powder coating (essential).

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Capacity to work independently.

Understanding of safety protocols related to powder coating processes.

Proficient in interpreting technical instructions and specifications.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with the production team.

The working hours for the Powder Coater position are Monday to Thursday, either on day shifts (6am-6pm) or night shifts (6pm-6am).

Pay rate for Powder Coater is dependant on experience and depending on the shift. Please note that a permanent position may offer a 5% increase in wages. The rate can also be negotiable based on experience.
